# automation technician/programmer **Ultimate Solutions** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 10 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Key Responsibilities - Program, configure and commission home automation and control systems. - Develop intuitive user interfaces and control logic for lighting, climate, curtains, audio/video and other integrated systems. - Program and integrate systems such as KNX, Crestron, Lutron and other automation platforms. - Integrate third-party systems including HVAC, BMS, lighting, shading, audio/video, networking, CCTV and access/security systems. - Interpret project drawings, schematics, control specifications and approved programming requirements. - Configure automation devices, processors, gateways, touch panels, keypads, sensors and interfaces. - Carry out system testing, fault finding, debugging and commissioning both in the workshop and on site. - Coordinate with project managers, engineers, electricians, interior designers, consultants and other specialist contractors. - Identify and resolve programming, communication and integration issues efficiently. - Conduct final system testing and ensure all functions meet the approved project requirements. - Prepare and maintain programming backups, configuration files, documentation and system records. - Support site teams during installation, testing and commissioning. - Provide technical support during client handover and address post-handover programming requirements. - Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of existing automation systems. - Stay current with new automation technologies, platforms, products and integration methods. Technical Skills & Experience - Proven experience as an Automation Programmer / Control Systems Programmer. - Strong experience with one or more major automation platforms, preferably Crestron, KNX and/or Lutron. - Understanding of lighting control, HVAC, motorized shading, AV, networking and system integration. - Ability to read electrical, automation and technical drawings. - Strong understanding of IP networking and communication protocols. - Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting integrated systems. - Ability to work independently and systematically diagnose technical issues.
