The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and professional Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), Traffic Diversion Plans, Road Safety Drawings, signage and road-marking layouts, work-zone traffic arrangements, and related technical drawings in coordination with engineers, traffic management specialists, and site teams. Key Responsibilities · Prepare detailed Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) using AutoCAD. · Prepare temporary traffic diversion and road closure plans for construction and maintenance works. · Develop layouts for traffic signs, road markings, barriers, cones, delineators, pedestrian routes, and safety devices. · Prepare work-zone traffic management and temporary traffic control drawings. · Prepare drawings for lane closures, diversions, detours, traffic switches, and access arrangements. · Prepare road safety and traffic control layouts in accordance with project requirements. · Convert engineers' and traffic management specialists' concepts into clear and accurate CAD drawings. · Review and revise drawings based on client, consultant, authority, and site comments. · Incorporate survey information and existing road conditions into drawings. · Prepare as-built drawings reflecting actual site conditions. · Coordinate drawings with traffic engineers, road safety engineers, surveyors, project managers, and site teams. · Maintain proper drawing revisions, drawing registers, and document-control procedures. · Ensure drawings follow applicable UAE traffic management, road safety, signage, and road-marking standards and authority requirements. · Support the technical team in preparing drawings and submissions for project approvals. · Ensure all drawings are completed accurately and within project deadlines. Requirements · Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, Traffic Engineering, or a related field. · 3–5 years of relevant experience in traffic management, road safety, road construction, or infrastructure projects. · Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D. · Experience preparing Traffic Management Plans and temporary traffic control drawings. · Good knowledge of road signs, road markings, traffic control devices, barriers, cones, pedestrian management, and work-zone safety. · Ability to read and understand civil, road, and traffic engineering drawings. · Experience with UAE/GCC traffic management projects is highly preferred. · Familiarity with UAE road and traffic authority requirements is an advantage. · Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple drawing revisions. · Strong attention to detail and good coordination skills.
