# AutoCAD Draftsman **neo immigration consultants - fzco** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role AutoCAD Draftsman / Modeller / Detailer – Structural & Non-Structural Steel Job Overview We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman / Modeller / Detailer with hands-on experience in structural steel fabrication and construction . The ideal candidate should have a strong technical understanding of both structural and non-structural steel/metal works and be able to prepare accurate drawings suitable for fabrication and site execution. Key Responsibilities Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, GA drawings and detailed drawings using AutoCAD. Develop drawings and details for structural steel and non-structural metal works . Work on steel structures including columns, beams, frames, platforms, stairs, ladders, supports and structural connections . Handle non-structural works such as handrails, balustrades, cladding, canopies and architectural metal works . Prepare detailed fabrication and installation/erection drawings . Read and interpret structural, architectural and engineering drawings. Understand steel sections, plates, bolts, welding details, connections and fabrication methods . Coordinate with engineers, site teams, fabrication/workshop teams and project managers . Revise drawings based on site conditions, engineering comments and client/consultant requirements. Ensure drawings are accurate, practical and suitable for fabrication and installation. Prepare basic MTO/BOM and support quantity take-offs when required. Maintain proper drawing revisions and documentation. Requirements Minimum 1–2 years of UAE experience in AutoCAD drafting/detailing. Experience in structural steel fabrication, steel construction or metal works is mandatory. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D . Good understanding of structural and non-structural steel works . Strong knowledge of steel detailing, connections, welding symbols, sections, plates and fabrication requirements . Ability to independently understand drawings and develop fabrication/shop drawings. Tekla Structures / 3D modelling knowledge is an advantage. Knowledge of UAE construction/fabrication practices is preferred. Civil/Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Drafting/Engineering is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Immediate joiners are highly preferred. Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month Application Question(s): What types of steel works have you detailed? Please mention structural and non-structural works.
