Job description: Senior Accountant Job Opening: Senior Accountant Australia We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong technical accounting expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering highquality financial services. Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Accounting & Finance Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review complex financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss reports, and cash flow statements. Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes, including accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations. Oversee tax compliance activities including BAS, IAS, FBT, and income tax returns. Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support client decision-making and business improvement. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling for clients and internal stakeholders Supervise and mentor junior accountants, reviewing their work and fostering a collaborative team environment. Support external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CA qualification (or near completion) Added advantage Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and financial reporting standards. Experience with financial systems such as Xero, MYOB, or similar platforms. Skills & Attributes: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
