Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, analytical, and detail-oriented Audit Manager to lead our internal audit function. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management procedures, and governance processes. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding the Club's assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational efficiency across all departments. Responsible for leading the internal audit function and enterprise wide compliance program while providing independent assurance to the Board of Directors and Management. Key Responsibilities: ● Internal Audit Leadership: Plan, organize, and execute comprehensive operational, financial, and compliance audits across various departments and business units within the club. ● Risk Management: Identify operational and financial risks, assess internal control deficiencies, and formulate practical, actionable recommendations for improvement. ● Policy & Compliance: Ensure all club operations adhere to established company policies, industry regulations, and statutory compliance requirements in the Philippines. ● Audit Reporting: Prepare clear, concise, and objective audit reports detailing findings, risk assessments, and management recommendations for review by senior management and the Audit Committee. ● Compliance Program Oversight: Design and implement a compliance framework ensure adherence to Government regulations, Tax laws, Labor laws and Internal policies. Act as the central authority for compliance matters. ● Process Improvement: Continuously review and refine internal control systems and accounting procedures to enhance operational efficiency and prevent fraud. ● Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to follow up on agreed-upon audit recommendations and corrective action plans. ● Team Supervision: Mentor, guide, and supervise junior audit staff or team members (if applicable). Qualifications & Requirements: ● Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy ● Licensure: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines is required; additional internal audit certifications (e.g., CIA, CISA) are a strong advantage. ● Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of solid experience in internal auditing, external auditing (Big 4 accounting firms preferred), or financial management. Experience within hospitality, clubs, real estate, or leisure industries is a distinct advantage. ● Skills: ○ Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. ○ High level of integrity, professional ethics, and independence. ○ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino. ○ Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and financial/accounting management software. ○ Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
