We need one hands-on Field Operations Manager who can help deliver the work today and build the team that will run it tomorrow. This is a true hybrid buildout role—not a permanent technician job and not a desk-only manager job. THE PATH Right now: Work alongside the field team when needed, make sure sold jobs get staffed and completed correctly, and learn exactly how AtticXperts operates While we grow: Recruit, qualify, onboard, and train reliable employees and subcontractors As the team becomes dependable: Transition out of daily production and into full-time operations management—scheduling, quality control, training, hiring, coaching, and accountability The transition is earned by building a crew that can execute without the manager needing to be inside every attic. WHAT YOU’LL OWN Lead and perform insulation removal and installation, attic and crawl-space cleanouts, rodent entry-point sealing, sanitation, and minor air-sealing work when field coverage is needed Turn each sold scope into a clear plan for labor, materials, schedule, and quality control Actively find, interview, and qualify field employees and specialty subcontractors Build a simple, repeatable training process with checklists, photos, and clear work standards Train and supervise technicians until they can complete work safely and correctly without constant oversight Schedule crews, confirm job readiness, solve field problems, and hold people accountable Protect the customer’s home, require clear before/during/after photos, and communicate changes before extra work begins Keep tools, vehicles, jobsites, and schedules organized REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Real hands-on experience in attic insulation, restoration, pest or rodent exclusion, HVAC, roofing, or similar residential field work Proven experience hiring, building, and training a small field crew—this is required, not preferred The ability to find and qualify dependable employees or subcontractors when work has already been sold The ability to create and implement a training process, not just explain the work once A valid California driver’s license and safe driving habits The ability to work safely in heat, on ladders, with respirator and PPE, and in tight attics and crawl spaces The ability to lift and carry 50 pounds Reliable attendance, clean workmanship, calm problem-solving, and respectful communication in customers’ homes Pay: $27–$31 per hour based on verified experience. Schedule: Full-time W-2, daytime work; occasional Saturdays when jobs require it. Location: Based in Garden Grove, serving Orange County and nearby areas. Company tools and PPE provided. If you have only worked as a technician and have never recruited, trained, scheduled, or held a crew accountable, this is probably not the right role. If you know the work and know how to build people around a clear standard, we want to talk.
