ASUS Laptop Technician Inhouse
Job Summary MarsSys is looking for a skilled ASUS Laptop Technician to join our technical service team. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, testing, and maintaining ASUS laptops and other computing devices. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in laptop hardware troubleshooting and repair , with good knowledge of ASUS devices. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair ASUS laptops, Chromebooks, AIOs, and related devices. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and identify root causes. Replace faulty components including: Motherboards LCD/display panels Keyboards Touchpads Batteries Hinges SSDs RAM Wi-Fi cards Cameras and microphones Other internal components Perform BIOS updates, firmware updates, driver installation, and hardware diagnostics. Carry out operating system installation and software troubleshooting. Perform preventive maintenance and device health checks. Conduct complete functional testing after every repair. Ensure repaired devices meet MarsSys/ASUS quality standards before release. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and device status. Escalate recurring or complex technical issues to the Service Manager. Identify recurring hardware failures and report trends to management. Maintain proper handling and storage of customer devices and spare parts. Meet agreed repair turnaround times and service-level requirements. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field . 2–4 years of experience in laptop/PC hardware repair and troubleshooting . Strong hands-on laptop repair experience. ASUS service or repair experience is highly preferred. Good knowledge of Windows, BIOS, drivers, hardware diagnostics, and troubleshooting. Ability to read technical specifications and service documentation. Good understanding of laptop components and their functionality. Good English communication skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. UAE experience is preferred.
