Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager with a focus on custodial operations to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will lead and supervise custodial staff, Crew Leaders and Supervisors to oversee cleaning and sanitation processes, and ensure the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will drive team performance, streamline cleaning procedures, and uphold compliance with safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse cleaning projects across commercial, industrial, and hospitality environments while fostering a positive team culture.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate custodial, crew leaders, and supervisors staff to ensure efficient cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of facilities
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols aligned with industry standards and safety regulations
• Monitor daily operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness in all assigned areas
• Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation practices
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintenance
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management to address concerns, report progress, and improve service delivery

Qualifications

• Proven experience in custodial services, commercial cleaning, or industrial cleaning environments
• Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in a cleaning or facilities setting
• Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively
• Exceptional communication skills for managerial interactions and customer service excellence
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Prior experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is a plus
• Knowledge of laundry services or janitorial operations is advantageous

Pay: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
