We're looking for our next Associate Product Manager. Could It Be You? As part of the Growth Portfolio, you'll join a small, highly talented team where Questrade's most ambitious ideas go from 0 to 1. You won't just execute an ambitious roadmap; you'll help shape it, building the systems that take Questrade and Canadians into the future. The Associate Product Manager (APM) is a foundational role on the Growth Portfolio team at QuestEnterprise. You will translate requirements into clear functional specifications for small features and contribute meaningfully to larger, complex initiatives across Questrade's Crypto Trading Platform, derivative products, legacy and digital precious metals programs, and other business lines within the Growth Portfolio. This role is not only about helping to launch 0→1 products, but about helping grow those products to scale and then taking them to the next level of feature set, revenue, and customer satisfaction. In a typical week, you will collaborate closely with engineering, design, operations, and other key internal and external stakeholders to drive product development, and leverage internal data analytics tools to evaluate performance and continuously monitor product quality. Keep reading… In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Feature specification: Writing clear, actionable requirements and functional specifications for small features, while contributing meaningfully to requirements for larger initiatives, so that engineers and immediate stakeholders have sufficient detail to build and understand the desired outcomes. - Technical collaboration: Developing a solid understanding of the product's core components and high-level tech stack to hold constructive technical discussions with engineering, actively learning the platform's inner workings, and evaluating how technical constraints affect the user experience. - Product delivery: Coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams to reliably deliver on the product roadmap, managing execution details, communicating progress transparently, and working with your manager to make smart implementation trade-offs and ship on time. - Quality assurance: Defining and maintaining product quality standards by triaging and prioritizing bug severity, evaluating user impact to make launch-blocker recommendations, and verifying that all shipped features meet functional specification requirements. - Data-driven decision making: Accessing and leveraging internal analytics tools to build a strong understanding of product data, partnering with data teams to analyze performance metrics, interpret findings, and back up feature recommendations with evidence. - Voice of the customer and UX: Collaborating with design partners to collect user feedback through surveys, usability tests, and support tickets, and translating those insights and foundational UX and accessibility principles into intuitive designs and actionable improvements. - Stakeholder and alignment management: Identifying key stakeholders for your features to capture requirements and maintain clear lines of communication, providing timely updates on progress, milestones, and potential impacts to their areas. - Ownership and team collaboration: Building trust with your immediate team by facilitating rituals such as standups and refinement, providing radical transparency into feature statuses and setbacks, and proactively raising solutions to obstacles. One spans the Crypto Trading Platform, derivative products, precious metals, and other legacy business lines; the other leads primarily on our legacy and digital precious metals programs while supporting the Crypto Trading Platform and derivative products. We'll match you to the focus where you're strongest. - Depending on the position, you will report to either the Head of Alternative Trading Products or a Group Product Manager. Neither role has direct reports. - These are Full Time Regular positions based in the GTA. Compensation Information: - Base salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 - The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada).
