Associate Director, Global Capability Center (GCC)

Job Description Summary

Lead the Philippines GCC as an enterprise capability hub—not simply a delivery site. Own the center’s strategy, operating model, multifunction service portfolio, talent, governance, financial stewardship, transformation agenda, and integration with global business and functional leadership.

Core accountabilities

• Enterprise strategy and growth: Translate enterprise priorities into a Philippines capability roadmap; expand from transactional delivery into end-to-end process, product, platform, technology, analytics, and specialist ownership. Mature GCCs increasingly carry accountability for delivery, talent, budgets, innovation, and enterprise outcomes
• Multifunction operations: Provide center-wide leadership across some combination of finance, HR, procurement, technology, data, risk/compliance, customer operations, industry operations, and corporate services.
• Operating model and governance: Define decision rights, functional-versus-site accountability, service governance, KPIs/OKRs, escalation mechanisms, and business-partner forums. The preferred market model is increasingly hybrid—balancing enterprise control with local speed and shared ownership.
• Transformation, digital, and AI: Lead automation, process redesign, data/analytics, GenAI, platforms, and operating-model modernization; move successful use cases beyond pilots into governed workflows.
• Talent and culture: Build the leadership team, succession pipeline, workforce plan, specialist capability academies, and employee value proposition; strengthen engagement and critical-skill retention.
• Risk and entity stewardship: Oversee labor and regulatory compliance, information security, data/privacy, controls, audit readiness, third parties, crisis management, and business continuity.
• Financial stewardship: Own or strongly influence budget, workforce capacity, productivity, location strategy, investment cases, and value realization.
• Executive stakeholder leadership: Serve as the senior Philippines representative to global business, functional, technology, and corporate leaders.

Candidate requirements

• Senior leadership of a substantial GCC, GBS/shared-services center, or comparable enterprise global-delivery organization .
• Demonstrated multifunction scope , Philippines site/entity stewardship, global matrix influence, financial accountability, governance, and large leadership-team development.
• Substantial transformation, migration, scaling, or operating-model redesign experience.
• Credible exposure to technology, automation, analytics, or AI-enabled operations.
