Associate Business Analyst & Database Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated, entry-level professional to join our Information Technology team. This role bridges the strategic insight of a Business Analyst with the technical rigor of a Database Administrator. Ideal for recent graduates, this position offers a hands-on environment to develop foundational skills in data modeling, requirements gathering, security, and quality control. Core Responsibilities · Requirements & Analysis: Gather business requirements, document "as-is" and "to-be" workflows, and translate stakeholder needs into functional specifications. · Data Integrity & QC: Implement validation constraints, perform routine data audits, and maintain data consistency through normalization. · Database Administration: Manage routine tasks including user access control, version control and data entry/integrity monitoring. · Testing & Quality Assurance: Participate in the development of and execution of SQL-based unit tests, regression tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system stability and accuracy. · Security Protocols: Support data security by managing access and having full knowledge of the workflow to match the user’s credentials. · Accountability in Data Handling- Ensure that every interaction with the data is transparent and authorized, which protects both the client and the organization. · Reporting & Support: Serve on the team as the secondary technical contact for end-user troubleshooting and data correction. · Trust and Decision Accuracy: Take responsibility for the data integrity; understanding decisions, business changes are based on the data. Act as a gatekeeper of organizational information. Required Qualifications · Recent college graduate · Foundational knowledge of relational databases and SQL; is ideal. · Strong analytical mindset; ability to perform root cause analysis and break down complex problems. · Excellent communication skills; ability to document processes clearly and translate technical requirements. · High attention to detail; commitment to data security and accuracy standards. · Eagerness to learn organizational tools & operational databases (e.g., Smartsheet, JIRA, Case management, Monarch, IQuote, Print Flow, Process Shipper). · Integrity: Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain strict integrity Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) 5% Match 401(k) matching AD&D insurance Dental insurance Dependent health insurance coverage Disability insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid holidays Paid sick time Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
