# Associate Apparel Designer: Women’s and Girls Active & Graphics **NY Apparel** · New York, NY · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Associate Apparel Designer: Active Women’s & Girls Apparel & Graphics Location: NYC | On-Site Monday–Thursday Salary: $65,000 to 75,000 BOE + Benefits We are seeking a talented Associate Apparel Designer to join our design team, focusing on Women’s & Girls Active Apparel and Graphics The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about fashion, with the ability to contribute to the entire design process, from trend research and initial sketches through technical development and production. Key Responsibilities include contributing to: - Research of seasonal trends, colors, fabrics, and silhouettes. - Creation of original apparel sketches, CADs, and design presentations. - Development of detailed tech packs, including construction, measurements, trims, and artwork placement. - Creation and adaptation of graphics, prints, patterns, and embellishments. - Collaboration with the design and production teams on product development. Requirements - 2–5 years of experience in apparel design, preferably in women’s or girl’s apparel. This is an apparel position only. Candidates with non-apparel graphic design or web design need not apply. - Strong sketching, illustration, and CAD skills. - Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create original art and sketches. - Experience creating tech packs and understanding garment construction. - Good eye for trends, color, prints, and commercial styling. Office: - Our offices are located in midtown Manhattan. Applicants must currently reside within a commutable distance to midtown Manhattan.
