About the Role We’re looking for a motivated Associate with 2–3 years’ experience and a university degree (preferably in Accounting/Finance) to join our growing team. You’ll start with core accounting and bookkeeping, then receive structured training to perform relevant work for IPO/listed company engagements in the United States and Hong Kong, gaining handson exposure to US GAAP and IFRS. This role also offers a secondment opportunity to clients or business partners across Hong Kong, South East Asia, and the United States, where you’ll acquire practical knowledge of fundraising channels, strengthen investor-ready financial preparation, and develop meaningful business insights. Ultimately, successful candidates will develop the capability to lead ad-hoc projects, support buy/sell transactions in listed companies, and work across a range of specialized areas in the broader finance and capital-markets world. Candidates with stronger experience or relevant exposure may be considered for the Senior Associate/ Assistant Manager title. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping Prepare and maintain general ledgers, journals, and month-end closings Process AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and expense controls Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules Assist in cash flow tracking and basic financial analysis Projects Management Support planning, fieldwork, and testing under supervision Perform walkthroughs, controls testing, and substantive procedures Assist in preparing documentation/work papers compliant with firm standards Learn and apply US GAAP and IFRS to accounting working papers and relevant disclosures Coordinate with clients to obtain information and clear audit queries Continuous Improvement Participate in internal training on US GAAP, IFRSs, and IPO processes Support process standardization and documentation (SOPs, audit templates) Work cross-functionally with compliance, product, and operations teams when needed Qualifications Must-Haves Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline 2–3 years’ relevant experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements Strong Excel skills; comfortable with accounting systems (e.g. SAGE) Good written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable with deadlines What We Offer IPO Pathway Training: Structured learning and mentoring on US GAAP & IFRS High-Impact Exposure: Hands-on accounting work for US and HK IPOs Career Progression: Clear track to Senior Associate / Assistant Manager / Manager Culture & Support: Collaborative team, on-the-job coaching, study support Competitive Package: Discretionary bonus, medical benefits, and study leave Work Location Hong Kong (with client-site visits as required) Occasional regional or cross-time-zone collaboration for US/HK engagements Employment Type Full-time, onsite Equal Opportunity Statement We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
