Coordinate all engineering activities, including design, calculations, material preparation, fabrication, and construction supervision. Monitor site execution to ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, contractual obligations, and safety/quality standards. Identify and resolve complex structural and construction issues on site to avoid project delays. Monitor and inspect subcontractors’ technical work, designs, and methods for quality and compliance. Liaise with consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure structural works are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with project requirements. Lead structural tender processes, evaluate contractor proposals, review contract terms, and oversee budget control throughout the project lifecycle. Job requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, preferably from courses listed in the HKIE's List of Accredited Programmes. Membership of the HKIE (Structural Discipline) is a definite advantage. At least 12 years’ experience in structural engineering with main contractors, of which at least 3 years’ working experience in multi-disciplinary MEP or private residential construction projects. Proficiency in Structural analysis software is preferred. Well-organized and self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). Candidates with more experience will be considered as Structural Manager.
