Overview Join our dynamic property management team as an Assistant Property Manager, where you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of residential communities. You will assist in managing leasing activities, property maintenance coordination, and administrative tasks that keep our communities thriving. If you’re passionate about real estate, possess excellent organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is perf Assist in property leasing activities including conducting tours, upselling units, and maintaining positive client relationships. Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet safety standards. Utilize property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite to track occupancy, rent payments, and maintenance requests efficiently. Manage client communication via phone and email, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly. Support budgeting processes by tracking expenses and assisting with financial reporting related to property operations. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Landlord-Tenant Law, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 housing programs, and other legal requirements. Maintain accurate filing systems for contracts, legal documents, maintenance records, and tenant files using appropriate administrative procedures. Collaborate with team members to resolve conflicts effectively while maintaining a positive community atmosphere. Assist in marketing efforts through leasing presentations and upselling available units or services. Requirements Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles; experience with property management companies is highly desirable. working knowledge of property management software such as Buildium, or similar tools; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a plus Excellent conflict management skills coupled with effective negotiation abilities to handle tenant concerns and lease agreements smoothly. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Office experience including filing systems, contracts management, and customer relationship management (CRM). Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette and client interaction expertise. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating leadership qualities when necessary. Knowledge of property maintenance processes and facilities management practices is a plus.
