In this role, you will bridge the gap between product engineering and supply chain operations, supporting new product development from concept through to mass production. You will collaborate closely with Product Manager (PM), Sales, Engineering, and global supplier networks to manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), coordinate R&D tooling and sample orders, and drive cost-evaluation activities. Key responsibilities Support product development activities from concept to full production, leveraging project management skills to keep timelines and deliverables on track Partner closely with PM, Sales, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to align project goals, facilitate resource allocation, and streamline execution Maintain and update project Bills of Materials (BOMs), cost analysis models, and component evaluation data to ensure target margins and technical criteria are met Coordinate and issue tooling orders and R&D sample requests. Actively explore, research, and evaluate new materials, components, and potential supply sources to optimize product design and lead times Manage R&D sample inventory, library records, and distribution activities across cross-functional teams Assist in daily vendor communication, contract coordination, and supplier evaluation when required Execute additional operational tasks and strategic supply chain initiatives as assigned by management About you Bachelor degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in procurement, sourcing, engineering support, manufacturing, or product development Fundamental project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet tight project timelines Practical knowledge of engineering materials, manufacturing processes, and global sourcing channels (experience in optical components, electronics, or hardware is an advantage) Familiarity with BOM management, cost analysis, and hands-on experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP/MRP systems Willingness to learn and a passion for exploring new technologies, materials, and processes Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors Proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, and resilient under pressure Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin for supplier communication) Full-time
