The Role The Assistant People & Culture – India provides administrative and operational support to the HR function, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, HRMS administration, attendance, statutory compliance, employee engagement and HR reporting. Key Responsibilities HR Administration Maintain employee personnel records, both physical and digital, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance. Update employee information within grey HR/HRMS systems. Prepare and issue employee correspondence, including confirmation, promotion, transfer, warning and experience letters. Ensure all employee documentation is complete, accurate and compliant with company policies and statutory requirements. Attendance & Payroll Support Monitor employee attendance, leave records and timekeeping data. Process attendance regularization and leave applications in a timely manner. Coordinate with the payroll team to ensure accurate employee records and seamless payroll processing. Statutory Compliance Assist in the administration of statutory compliance requirements including Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Labor Welfare Fund (LFW) and related documentation. Maintain statutory records and support internal and external compliance audits. Reporting Prepare and circulate weekly and monthly HR reports. Maintain and analyse recruitment, attendance, attrition, and manpower reports to support workforce planning and decision-making General Responsibilities Support the planning and execution of employee engagement and welfare initiatives. Collaborate with departmental managers and employees on HR-related matters. Undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned by the Manager – People and Culture to support business and HR objectives. About You We're looking for someone keen, enthusiastic, creative and keen to build a career in employer branding and recruitment. Essential Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. 0–2 years HR experience (fresh graduates with strong communication skills may also apply). Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Understanding of labour laws, PF and ESI. Strong organisational skills, confidentiality and attention to detail. Desirable Experience using greytHR or other HRMS. Experience in a multi-site organisation. Knowledge of payroll processes. What We Offer Opportunity to work in a global organisation.
