Assistant Operations Supervisor
Job Summary The Assistant Operations Supervisor is essential in managing the HVAC rental operations, fleet and technical workforce. This role serves as a key link between Sales and execution, ensuring that every job order is fulfilled with the appropriate equipment, qualified personnel, and optimal logistics. The primary goal is to maximize equipment uptime and fleet utilization while fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence across all project sites. Develop a comprehensive master schedule in close coordination with the Operations Manager to oversee the allocation of equipment and personnel across multiple concurrent projects. Optimize mobilization routes and trucking schedules to reduce fuel costs and meet strict client windows. Balance internal staff workloads, managing overtime and holiday shifts to maintain budget targets. Serve as the senior technical authority for complex troubleshooting escalations in close coordination with the Operations Manager. Conduct random "Spot Audits" at project sites to ensure installations meet engineering standards and safety codes. Work closely with the Sales Teamto provide technical feasibility assessments for large-scale rental inquiries. Address high-level client concerns regarding equipment performance or service delivery. Provides training, coaching and performance feedback to technicians, drivers, welders and team leaders to enhance skills and effectiveness in their roles. Prepares reports and analysis on operational performance, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction metrics to inform decision-making and process improvements. Preferred Qualifications Completion of a relevant vocational program or possess a National Certificate II (NCII) in HVAC or a related field. Over 10 years of hands-on experience in HVAC services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience in Equipment Rental (HVAC, Power, or Heavy Machinery) is a distinct advantage. Strong knowledge of large-scale cooling systems (Chillers, VRF, Cooling Towers). Proven ability to manage a diverse team of Team Leads, Technicians, and Drivers. Familiarity with the Philippine Mechanical Engineering Code and DOLE-OSHC safety standards is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. Basic proficiency in computer systems and software applications, including MS Office and inventory management software. Proficiency in troubleshooting techniques and repair of air conditioning systems. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in HVAC operations. Valid Philippine driver’s license.
