Assistant Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities Assist the Operations Manager in managing daily production and operational activities. Monitor production schedules, manpower, productivity, and operational performance. Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Maintenance, Warehouse, Procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth operations. Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery requirements are achieved. Monitor compliance with food safety, HACCP, GMP, health & safety, and company policies . Identify operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. Support manpower planning, shift allocation, and workforce utilization. Monitor operational KPIs and prepare reports for management. Assist in controlling operational costs, minimizing waste, and improving productivity. Lead and motivate operational teams to maintain high standards of performance and discipline. Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization. Ensure proper implementation of company procedures and operational standards. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Business Administration, Operations Management , or a related field. Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing, food production, FMCG, or a similar industry. Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial operations role is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, production planning, and operational controls. Good understanding of HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000/ISO standards , and workplace safety. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage. Work Location: In person
