The successful candidate will support end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement, availability, and movement of medical, pharmaceutical, and general supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in healthcare supply chain, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and vendor coordination , with the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Support the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, purchasing, logistics, inventory, and distribution. Coordinate the procurement of medical supplies, consumables, equipment, pharmaceuticals, and general materials . Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, lead time, and service reliability. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms. Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, backorders, and supplier performance. Maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize stock-outs and excess inventory. Coordinate with hospital departments, clinical teams, finance, and other stakeholders to understand and fulfill supply requirements. Monitor inventory movement and ensure accurate stock records. Support demand planning, forecasting, and replenishment activities. Ensure compliance with healthcare procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures. Manage supplier relationships and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, pricing, and availability. Prepare supply chain reports, procurement analysis, and management updates. Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline processes. Support logistics and transportation coordination, including local and international shipments where required. Assist the Supply Chain Manager in developing and implementing supply chain strategies and processes. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration , or a related field. 5–8 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, preferably within the healthcare/hospital sector . Strong knowledge of medical supplies, healthcare procurement, and inventory management. Experience in supplier sourcing, negotiation, purchase orders, and vendor management. Good understanding of local and international logistics and shipping processes. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/procurement systems . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders. UAE healthcare or hospital experience will be an advantage.
