Assistant Manager Production – Self-Adhesive Label Printing (Based in Jeddah)

Job Summary

We are looking for an Assistant Manager Production to support and coordinate daily manufacturing operations in a self-adhesive label printing facility. The role will focus on production planning and execution, machine utilization, quality control, material coordination, waste reduction, and timely order completion. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in flexographic label printing and self-adhesive label manufacturing .

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities based on approved production plans, work orders, and delivery schedules.
• Supervise production operators and shift teams to ensure efficient machine operation and achievement of production targets.
• Monitor flexographic printing, die-cutting, slitting, rewinding, and finishing processes.
• Ensure production jobs are executed according to customer specifications, approved artwork, job cards, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Prepress, Quality Control, Planning, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow.
• Monitor machine utilization, production output, downtime, rejection rates, and material wastage.
• Ensure correct usage of label stock, adhesive materials, inks, coatings, plates, dies, and other production consumables.
• Verify job setup, registration, color consistency, print quality, die-cut accuracy, and finished label specifications.
• Identify production bottlenecks and resolve routine operational issues in coordination with relevant departments.
• Ensure production documentation, job cards, material consumption, and output records are maintained accurately.
• Monitor compliance with safety procedures, housekeeping, and production operating standards.
• Support root-cause analysis for quality defects, machine downtime, and production delays.
• Train and guide production operators on operating procedures, quality requirements, and waste reduction.
• Assist in implementing process improvements to increase productivity and reduce rework.
• Prepare daily and periodic production reports for management review.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Printing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in production operations within the printing industry.
• Strong hands-on experience in self-adhesive label printing and flexographic printing is required.
