The coverage will be all the areas of Trade Finance for various business segments Key Result Areas - Document checking against L/C or SBLC should be as per UCP/ISBP/ISP as applicable and corresponding to all applicable ICC guidelines as well as internal policies of the bank - Perform sanction checking of relevant parties in documents - Handle Commodity Trade Operations documents - Responsible for inputting documents into the system and preparing SWIFT for advising - Ad-hoc tasks given by the Team Head - Ensure errors/knowledge gaps resulting in rejection of docs are shared with line manager/team to address customer service issues. Knowledge, Skills and Experience - Bachelor's Degree - At least 5-8 years of relevant working experience in Trade Operations - Document checking experience of 2-3 years is a must. - Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) - Attentive to details, strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills - Able to work under pressure, have excellent organizational skills and good team player. - Willingness to work in US shifts Behavioral Competency S.
