# Assistant Manager Application Support **NPCE Group KL** · Kepong · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Position: Assistant Manager, Application Support Salary: Up to RM8,000 Location: Kepong, Kuala Lumpur Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.30 pm Job Summary We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Application Support to lead the application support team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The role will be responsible for managing support activities, resolving technical issues, monitoring service performance, and working closely with internal teams to improve application reliability and customer experience. Key Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the Application Support team, covering Domestic, International and Software Specialist support. Lead, motivate and develop team members to achieve performance targets and improve technical capabilities. Oversee incident, problem and change management activities in line with IT policies and service level agreements (SLAs). Coordinate with Sales, IT Support and Development teams to resolve issues and improve application support services. Identify recurring issues and recommend solutions to improve system reliability and customer experience. Develop and maintain support procedures, technical documentation, user guides, FAQs and knowledge bases. Monitor application performance and support metrics, identify trends and prepare reports for management. Manage team schedules and on-call arrangements to ensure adequate support coverage. Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on system performance, ongoing issues and support activities. Prioritise and coordinate technical issues to minimise business disruption and maintain service continuity. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in application support or IT operations , with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role . Good understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), including incident, problem and change management. Strong problem-solving, communication and team leadership skills. Experience supporting customer-facing applications and working with ticketing or service management tools. Experience with application performance monitoring and reporting. Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with different departments. Good communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Pay: Up to RM8,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
