Assistant Logistics Manager

CityDrinks is looking for a proactive, experienced, and results-driven Assistant Logistics Manager to support and oversee our daily logistics, fleet coordination, warehouse operations, and last-mile delivery activities.

The ideal candidate must have a strong background in logistics or operations management, excellent knowledge of UAE locations, and proven experience coordinating large teams and fast-paced delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily logistics, fleet, and last-mile delivery operations across Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
• Coordinate and monitor drivers, couriers, dispatchers, and logistics personnel.
• Ensure timely order dispatch and efficient delivery operations.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes, schedules, and manpower allocation.
• Monitor daily operational performance, delivery KPIs, and service levels.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor fleet utilization, vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and operational expenses.
• Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Handle delivery-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Support the implementation of operational policies, procedures, and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable UAE regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in logistics or operations management .
• Strong geographical knowledge of Abu Dhabi and Dubai , including major roads, residential areas, and delivery locations.
• Knowledge of other UAE Emirates, particularly Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, will be an added advantage.
• Previous experience in e-commerce, FMCG, retail, or last-mile delivery operations is highly preferred.
• Proven experience coordinating drivers, couriers, fleet, and dispatch operations.
• Good understanding of route planning, fleet management, and warehouse coordination.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics management systems.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing high-volume delivery operations.
• Experience coordinating multi-location logistics operations.
• Familiarity with WMS, ERP, and delivery management systems.
• Proven ability to improve delivery efficiency and control operational costs.
