The role covers servers, storage, networking, cloud platforms, Microsoft 365 and Azure, together with relevant cloud services operating in Mainland China. He/ She will drive infrastructure modernisation, strengthen operational resilience and ensure the environment is ready to support enterprise applications, data platforms, Microsoft Copilot and future AI workloads. Also, he/ she will work closely with Security, Enterprise Architecture, Digital Transformation, Applications and IT Services teams to deliver robust and cost-effective solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead, coach and manage the Infrastructure & Operations team across networking, systems, cloud and platform operations. Define and execute the infrastructure roadmap covering on-premises, Microsoft 365, Azure, hybrid cloud and cloud platforms available in Mainland China. Ensure infrastructure availability, performance, capacity, backup, disaster recovery and cyber resilience in line with agreed service levels. Lead infrastructure transformation, cloud migration, platform upgrades and technology refresh programmes from planning through operational handover. Ensure infrastructure and cloud platforms are ready to support enterprise data platforms, Microsoft Copilot, AI agents and other AI-enabled solutions. Work closely with Security, Enterprise Architecture, Applications, Digital Transformation and IT Services teams to deliver secure, scalable and supportable solutions. Drive ITIL-based operational practices, including incident, problem, change, capacity and availability management. Manage infrastructure budgets, strategic vendors, managed service providers, contracts and service performance. Provide clear advice and regular updates to senior management on risks, priorities, costs and performance. Requirements Education and Experience: University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or related disciplines. Minimum 15 years of IT experience, including at least 8 years in an infrastructure leadership or managerial role. Proven experience leading infrastructure operations and transformation in a sizeable, multi-site organisation; experience in real estate, property management or hospitality is an advantage. Technical Expertise: Hands-on knowledge of enterprise servers, storage, virtualisation, backup, disaster recovery and infrastructure monitoring. Deep experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure architecture and operations, identity and access management, and hybrid cloud environments. Solid knowledge of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, network segmentation and cloud connectivity. Experience with cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud is highly desirable. Good understanding of infrastructure requirements for Microsoft Copilot, AI platforms, data and analytics workloads, APIs and cloud-hosted applications. Knowledge of cybersecurity controls, Zero Trust principles and ISO 27001 is an advantage; SAP Basis experience is also advantageous. Experience in real estate, property management, hospitality or another multi-site business is an advantage. Certifications and Skills: ITIL knowledge and practical experience applying IT service management processes are required. Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, cybersecurity or related professional certifications are preferred. Ability to explain complex infrastructure and cloud matter clearly to senior executives, business users and technical teams. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, vendor management, project management and problem-solving skills. Proactive, practical and resourceful, with a strong can-do attitude and willingness to take ownership of complex operational and transformation challenges. Able to remain hands-on when required, work effectively under pressure and drive issues through to timely resolution. Fluent in English and Chinese, with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
