AED 18,000 per month plus medical & air ticket

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, fully qualified finance professional to join a growing regional finance function as Assistant Financial Controller. This is a broad regional multi entity role requiring strong technical accounting expertise, commercial awareness and the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support month-end and year-end closing, management accounts and regional financial reporting
• Analyse financial performance, investigate variances and provide meaningful commercial insight
• Oversee balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations, accruals, provisions, prepayments and intercompany balances
• Coordinate external and internal audits, ensuring timely completion of audit requirements and statutory filings
• Monitor financial controls across payroll, billing, payments and operational expenditure
• Identify control weaknesses, financial risks and opportunities for process improvement
• Support regional tax compliance, including VAT, Corporate Tax and withholding tax
• Assist with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and cash flow management
• Partner with Regional Directors and Country Managers, providing financial analysis and supporting commercial decision-making
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Group accounting policies and local regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• 7+ years' experience in accounting, financial control or audit
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA or CIMA)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial controls and accrual accounting
• Proven experience preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
• Experience managing external audits and statutory reporting
• Good understanding of payroll, billing and regional tax requirements
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Previous experience within a multinational or multi-entity environment is highly advantageous
• Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, auditors and external advisers
• Commercially minded, analytical and solutions-focused
• Comfortable challenging existing processes and driving improvements
• Able to manage competing priorities independently across multiple countries
