This dual role covers engine maintenance, systems monitoring, electrical repairs, deck operations and guest support. Ideal for an experienced engine cadet or technical deckhand ready for the next step. ** Key Responsibilities:** - Engine and generator: Taking care of the main propulsion engines, generators, HVAC systems, and auxiliary systems. Cleaning relevant hoses and pipes regularly. - Battery checks regulary, fuel, fresh water, dirty water tanks monitoring. - Following the checklist of the engine room and recording log books. - Systems monitoring: Monitoring bilge levels, fuel systems, freshwater, sewage treatment, and all vessel systems. - Electrical and electronic systems: Maintaining all onboard electrical equipment from deck machinery to navigation systems and onboard entertainment. - Spare parts and inventory: Managing spare parts inventory, identifying critical items, and ordering replacements. - Safety and watchkeeping: Ensuring all engineering safety procedures are followed and contributing to the vessel's safety management system. - Additionally supporting deck operations, washdowns, teak cleaning, SS polishing, tender cleanings. ***General***
