Assistant Deli Manager
We are searching for an excellent candidate to join our Deli team, as the Assistant Deli Manager. Experience required in FMCG We are searching for a candidate to fill the following Sunday to Thursday 2 x early starts 3 x late finish. 40 hours per week. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Deli 2IC to join our busy and customer-focused Deli team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for food, customer service, and leadership to take the next step in their retail career. As the Deli 2IC, you will support the Deli Manager in the daily operation of the department and help lead the team to deliver high standards of presentation, freshness, food safety, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Support the Deli Manager with the day-to-day running of the department Lead and supervise team members during shifts Ensure products are well presented, fresh, and fully stocked Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge Assist with ordering, stock rotation, and waste control Ensure all food safety and health & safety procedures are followed Skills & Experience Required Previous deli, supermarket, or food retail experience preferred Leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage Strong communication and teamwork skills Passion for food and customer service Reliable, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays SAP Knowledge will be an advantage Good Understanding of English and ability to communicate fluently in English What We Offer Supportive team environment Ongoing training and development opportunities.
