We are looking for a highly organized, motivated Assistant Project Manager to support our construction team and help keep multiple residential projects moving efficiently from pre-construction through final completion. This is not simply an office position. We are looking for someone who understands construction, communicates well with homeowners and trades, and is comfortable working both in the office and on active job sites. Responsibilities - Assist Project Managers with multiple active residential construction projects Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and project schedules Visit job sites and monitor progress, quality, and upcoming needs Maintain project schedules and follow up on outstanding items Help coordinate inspections and permit-related requirements Track material orders, selections, lead times, and deliveries Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project documentation Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, designers, and vendors Assist with change orders and documentation Identify potential scheduling or construction issues before they impact the project Maintain organized project records, photos, notes, and punch lists Help drive projects through final completion and closeout What We’re Looking For - Construction or residential remodeling experience strongly preferred Understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing Excellent organizational and follow-up skills Strong written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Comfortable holding subcontractors and vendors accountable Professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with clients Ability to read construction drawings and specifications is a major plus Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Comfortable using computers, project-management software, email, and mobile applications The Right Person We want someone who takes ownership.
