This position helps our office recruit, hire, onboard, train, and support the Care Professionals who provide care to our clients and Veterans throughout the communities we serve. We especially encourage current or former caregivers, HCAs, CNAs, or others with senior care or healthcare experience who are interested in taking the next step into an administrative role within the caregiving career role. You already understand something that can't always be taught in an office, what it takes to be a great caregiver! We're looking for someone who can bring that experience into our office and help us find, develop, and support other great caregivers. This is a fast-paced, people-focused position. The right person will enjoy working with people while also being organized, dependable, comfortable with technology, and able to follow through on details. What You'll Do * Recruit, screen, and interview prospective Care Pros (we call our caregivers, Care Pros) * Help evaluate applicants for reliability, professionalism, availability, and fit with our clients and organization * Communicate with applicants throughout the recruiting and hiring process * Coordinate background checks, drug screening, required documentation, and other employment requirements * Help new Care Pros complete the onboarding process * Conduct new-hire orientation and assist with Care Pro training * Track certifications, continuing education, and other employment and compliance requirements * Maintain accurate Care Pro records and follow up on missing or expiring requirements * Build relationships with Care Pros through regular communication, support, recognition, and problem-solving * Help identify Care Pro concerns early and support retention efforts * Maintain recruiting and HR information, spreadsheets, reports, and other tracking tools * Answer incoming calls and assist clients, Care Pros, applicants, and community partners as needed * Prepare materials for orientation, training, recruiting, and other office activities * Provide general support to the office team when needed * Participate in the rotating on-call schedule, including approximately 1–2 evenings per week and 1–2 weekend days per month What We're Looking For * Experience in home care, senior care, healthcare, recruiting, HR, or a related field is preferred * Previous caregiving, HCA, or CNA experience is highly valued * Strong communication and people skills * Organized and able to keep track of multiple responsibilities * Reliable follow-through—you do what you say you're going to do * Good judgment and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and recognize what needs attention * Comfortable learning and using computer systems and technology * Able to work in a busy office with frequent calls, interruptions, and changing priorities * Comfortable receiving feedback, asking questions, and continuing to learn * Professional and discreet when working with confidential information * Dependable attendance * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation * Genuine interest in supporting seniors, Veterans, families, and the Care Pros who serve them We are willing to invest in the right person who brings strong people skills, senior-care experience, initiative, good judgment, and a desire to learn and grow. Compensation $19.00–$21.00 per hour, based on relevant experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications. We offer health and wellness benefits, and 401(k) plan. Schedule This is a part-time position for the administrative work and includes participation in our rotating on-call schedule. Specific office hours and schedule will be discussed during the interview process. You can supplement your work schedule by caregiving and working with our clients and Veterans.
