Assistant Accountant (General Ledger)

OF HEADCOUNT 2 HEADCOUNTS WORK SETUP Probationary period: Onsite - Vertis North, Corporate Center Tower 3 Quezon City Upon regularization: Hybrid SHIFT SCHEDULE Midshift | 3:00PM - 12:00 AM, Monday - Friday TARGET START DATE October 1, 2026 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS ● Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a minimum of 4 years of experience in full-cycle accounting, handling general ledger, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing ● Proven ability to prepare journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end close activities with a high degree of accuracy. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies, evaluate financial data and deliver timely resolutions. ● Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong stakeholder relationships. ● Highly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ● Experience working in a large, fast-paced multinational organization with exposure to complex accounting operations are preferred. ● Experience working in multi-entity or group accounting environments. ● Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and internal control frameworks. ● Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle or SAP Financials, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables and VLOOKUP functions. SUMMARY OF THIS ROLE The Accountant role will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records across multiple entities. This role will support key accounting processes including reconciliations, transaction processing, and month-end close activities, helping maintain financial transparency and compliance. Ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations. Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php49,000.00 per month Work Location: Hybrid remote in Quezon City
