This role takes on a broad range of responsibilities across the accounting function and due to the lean nature and flat structure of the accounting team, has the ability to grow quickly. Key responsibilities will include helping with budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and AP/AR. Key Responsibilities Supporting with the preparation of budgeting and forecasting across a large property portfolio Assisting with month and year end close and financial statements Processing accounts payable and receivable including balance sheet reconciliation and preparing payments Maintaining lease database File GST and FBT returns and other statutory requirements Adhoc financial analysis and variance reporting Responding to internal and external finance queries The Successful Candidate Will Bring experience in an Assistant Accountant/Accounts Assistant or similar finance role Have a relevant finance degree or qualification Have worked within a property business and have a strong interest in this area Apply sound commercial judgement to day-to-day decisions Display excellent time management and strong attention to detail What’s on Offer This opportunity provides the chance to get involved with a property business with an excellent reputation.
