# Area Lead (Franchise Operations under The Cabalen Group) **The Cabalen Group** · Quezon City · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 3 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role AREA LEAD – FRANCHISE OPERATIONS Department: Business Development Company: The Cabalen Group (TCG) Coverage: TCG Franchise Stores Work Setup: Field-Based / Head Office / Regular Store Visits Job Summary The Area Lead – Franchise Operations is responsible for overseeing and supporting assigned TCG franchise storesto ensure that each branch follows company standards, delivers good customer service, achieves business targets, and protects the quality and reputation of TCG brands. The Area Lead serves as the main connection between TCG Head Office and franchise partners. The role regularly visits franchise stores, reviews business and operational performance, identifies areas for improvement, provides guidance to franchisees and store leaders, and coordinates concerns with the proper TCG departments. The Area Lead is expected to understand both the business side and operational side of restaurant management and help franchise stores achieve sustainable growth while following TCG standards. Key Responsibilities Franchise Store Performance - Monitor the overall performance of assigned franchise stores. - Review store sales, guest count, average check, and other business indicators. - Compare actual store performance against approved targets. - Identify stores with declining or below-target performance. - Work with franchise partners and store leaders to prepare improvement plans. - Monitor implementation and results of agreed action plans. - Provide regular performance updates to Business Development Management. Franchise Operations Support - Conduct regular visits to assigned franchise stores. - Observe actual store operations and identify operational gaps. - Monitor opening, operating, and closing standards. - Review store readiness, cleanliness, staffing, service, and product availability. - Help franchise partners address operational concerns. - Coordinate with appropriate TCG departments when additional support is required. - Ensure agreed corrective actions are properly followed. Brand Standards & Compliance - Ensure franchise stores follow TCG-approved operating and brand standards. - Monitor proper use of brand name, logo, marketing materials, uniforms, menus, and store presentation. - Check compliance with approved products, recipes, operating procedures, and service standards. - Help address findings from audits and store assessments. - Escalate serious or repeated compliance concerns to management. Customer Experience - Monitor customer service standards across assigned stores. - Review guest comments, complaints, ratings, and feedback. - Help franchise stores address recurring guest concerns. - Recommend corrective training or operational improvements when needed. - Promote consistent TCG guest experience across franchise locations. Sales & Business Growth - Work with franchise partners to improve store sales. - Identify opportunities for local store marketing. - Support promotional campaigns and sales programs. - Monitor effectiveness of approved promotions. - Help identify opportunities for corporate accounts, local partnerships, group bookings, and community activities. - Provide recommendations based on store and market conditions. Franchise Partner Relationship - Maintain professional and productive relationships with franchise owners and representatives. - Serve as one of the primary points of contact between franchisees and TCG. - Listen to business concerns and provide appropriate guidance. - Communicate company updates, requirements, and standards clearly. - Coordinate unresolved matters with Business Development and other support departments. People & Manpower Monitoring - Review store manpower condition and operational staffing requirements. - Coordinate manpower-related concerns with franchise partners. - Observe the performance of store leaders. - Recommend training, coaching, or development interventions when needed. - Coordinate with HR and Training for approved people development programs. Coordination with Support Departments Work closely with: - Operations - Business Development - Marketing - Human Resources - Training - Finance and Accounting - Supply Chain and Purchasing - Quality Assurance - Construction and Design - Information Technology to help franchise stores resolve concerns and maintain company standards. New Franchise Store Support - Assist in the preparation of new franchise store openings. - Coordinate store readiness with the franchisee and TCG departments. - Monitor manpower, training, equipment, supplies, documentation, and operational readiness. - Participate in pre-opening assessments. - Support soft opening and opening activities when assigned. - Monitor the store during the stabilization period after opening. Key Performance Areas The Area Lead may be measured through: - Franchise store sales performance - Store compliance and audit results - Guest satisfaction - Franchise partner satisfaction - Completion of corrective action plans - Store visit completion - Resolution of franchise concerns - Sales improvement initiatives - Brand compliance - New store opening readiness - Timeliness and accuracy of reports Job Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or related course. - Preferably 3–5 years of experience in restaurant operations, franchise operations, business development, retail operations, or multi-store management. - Previous experience handling several restaurant or retail branches is highly preferred. - Experience working with franchisees or business partners is an advantage. - Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and business performance. - Good understanding of sales, customer service, cost awareness, and people management. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. - Must be willing to travel and conduct regular store visits nationwide when required.
