Architect / Interior Designer

Dar Al Mebtakeroon (DMC) is looking for a talented and motivated Architect / Interior Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should be creative, client-oriented, and experienced in design, FF&E selection, and project execution within the Bahrain market.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and forward-thinking Architect or Interior Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will combine strong design ability with advanced technical skills and a sound understanding of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence. This position involves managing projects from initial concept through to detailed documentation and final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts, space plans, and layouts for residential and commercial projects
• Prepare accurate drawings and detailed construction documents
• Produce high-quality 3D models and photorealistic visualizations
• Apply AI tools to enhance concept development, visualization, and client presentations
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers
• Conduct site visits to ensure that work is executed in accordance with the approved design
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and project requirements
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, software, and technologies
• Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
• Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience
• A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical ability, and attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Architecture
• Advanced proficiency in 3ds Max with V-Ray or Corona
• Practical experience with AI-based design and visualization tools
• Sound knowledge of materials, lighting, construction details, and building regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Revit or other Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
• Proficiency in SketchUp or Rhino
• Experience with real-time rendering software such as Enscape, D5 Render, or Lumion
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
• Experience with virtual reality walkthroughs or architectural animation
