Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Architectural Engineer to join our team for a high-rise building construction project in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating architectural works, reviewing drawings, managing technical documentation, and ensuring that architectural activities are executed in accordance with approved designs, project specifications, and construction standards. The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with a main contractor and possess excellent knowledge of architectural construction, site coordination, and project execution. 2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Architectural Works & Site Coordination Supervise and coordinate architectural works at the construction site. Ensure that architectural works are executed according to approved drawings and project specifications. Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines. Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with project schedules. Resolve architectural issues encountered during construction. B. Drawing Review & Technical Documentation Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and construction details. Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, and other disciplines. Review materials, finishes, and samples to ensure compliance with approved specifications. Prepare and review technical submissions, RFIs, and method statements. Ensure that all architectural documentation is properly maintained and updated. C. Quality Control & Compliance Ensure that architectural works comply with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship and material installation. Identify defects and coordinate corrective actions with subcontractors. Assist in inspections and approvals with consultants and relevant authorities. Ensure compliance with applicable UAE construction regulations and project requirements. D. Project Coordination & Execution Coordinate with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and other engineering teams. Attend technical meetings and coordination meetings with consultants and subcontractors. Monitor the progress of architectural activities and provide regular updates. Assist in resolving technical and construction-related issues. Support the successful execution and completion of architectural works within the project schedule. E. Material & Finishes Coordination Review and coordinate architectural material selections and finishes. Monitor the installation of flooring, ceilings, doors, walls, facades, and other architectural elements. Verify that materials and workmanship meet approved standards. Coordinate material inspections and mock-up approvals. F. Handover & Closeout Assist in preparing architectural snagging and inspection reports. Monitor the completion of snagging and rectification works. Review as-built drawings and relevant handover documents. Assist in the preparation of operation and maintenance documentation, where applicable. 3. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field . Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in architectural construction works. Previous experience working with a main contractor is mandatory or highly preferred , depending on project requirements. Experience in high-rise building construction projects is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of architectural construction methods, materials, and finishing works. Experience in reviewing architectural shop drawings and coordinating multiple disciplines. Familiarity with construction documentation, RFIs, material submittals, and technical submissions. Knowledge of relevant UAE construction standards and regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant architectural software. Knowledge of BIM/Revit is an advantage. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. 4. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments. Experience coordinating with consultants and subcontractors. Strong knowledge of architectural finishes and fit-out works. Experience in site supervision and construction quality control. Familiarity with Dubai Municipality requirements and relevant authority approvals. Professional engineering or architectural certification is an advantage. 5.
