The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SQL and UNIX Shell Scripting , with additional exposure to AML/KYC and Java being an advantage. Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, maintain, and support software/application systems. Write and optimize SQL queries for application development, data processing, validation, and troubleshooting. Develop and maintain UNIX/Linux shell scripts for application operations, automation, and batch processing. Analyze technical requirements and translate them into effective application solutions. Perform application troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis. Support application deployments, testing, maintenance, and production activities. Work closely with Business Analysts, QA, Application Support, and other technical teams. Prepare and maintain technical documentation. Participate in application enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of software/application development experience. Strong hands-on experience with SQL . Strong experience with UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting . Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC). Experience in application troubleshooting and production support. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Good to Have Knowledge or experience in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) / KYC (Know Your Customer) applications or processes. Hands-on experience with Java / Java-based applications . Banking / Financial Services domain experience. Experience with batch processing, scheduling, or enterprise application support. Exposure to Agile development methodologies. Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates from Application Development, Production Support, Application Support, Backend Development, or Software Engineering backgrounds with strong SQL + UNIX Shell Scripting experience are encouraged to apply.
