Application Support Advisor

The Application Support Advisor is responsible for supporting business-critical applications and operational processes across multiple digital and customer-facing business units, including eCommerce, Web, CRM, and Digital teams. Acting as a trusted partner, ensuring operational processes are effective, compliance requirements are met, and established best practices are consistently followed. The role supports application lifecycle activities including incident management, change and release governance, user access management, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing guidance on application processes, governance, and best practices. Promote compliance with corporate policies, security standards, audit requirements, and operational controls across supported applications. Review and approve application changes to ensure adherence to change management and governance standards. Coordinate user access management activities, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and periodic access reviews. Proactively identify operational risks and improvement opportunities, partnering with stakeholders to strengthen controls and processes. YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in Application Support, IT Operations, Service Management, or a related role.. Experience with incident, problem, change, and release management processes. Experience with application administration, user access management, and operational controls. Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and best practices. Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar service management tools. Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to ensure compliance with established policies, standards, and controls. Strong collaboration, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Adaptable and able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
