The new application will enable field inspectors to collect agricultural inspection data through interactive online forms, store information in a SQL database, and generate and store PDF documents. The primary focus of this role will be converting approximately 70 existing fillable PDF inspection documents into interactive HTML forms and developing the JavaScript functionality required to save inspector-entered data to the SQL database. Required Skills JavaScript SQL – T-SQL preferred, but general SQL experience is acceptable HTML CSS Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Python Docker Jinja / Jinja2 Git / GitHub Key Responsibilities Convert existing fillable PDF inspection documents into interactive HTML forms . Develop JavaScript functionality for form validation, data collection, and application behavior. Integrate application inputs with a SQL database . Work with Jinja templates to generate PDF documents from collected inspection data. Provide ongoing JavaScript development and application support. Collaborate with the in-house development team to keep the Inspections application on schedule. Troubleshoot and enhance application functionality as needed. Support the transition from the department's existing inspections system to the new application. Ideal Candidate This opportunity is well suited for a Junior or Intermediate Application Developer with hands-on experience building web forms and applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL. Experience working with databases, document generation, or web-based data collection systems is a plus.
