The Production Manager will be responsible for managing production operations, manpower, machinery, quality, productivity, safety, and timely completion of orders while ensuring efficient use of materials and resources. Preferred Candidate: A hands-on production professional who can effectively manage workers, machinery, materials, and production targets in a busy aluminum manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, organize, and supervise daily aluminum production activities. - Manage the complete production process, including cutting, pressing/forming, shaping, polishing, finishing, and assembly of aluminum products. - Monitor heavy-duty production machinery and ensure proper and safe operation. - Allocate manpower and production tasks according to daily requirements. - Monitor production targets, output, efficiency, and product quality. - Ensure products are manufactured according to required specifications and customer standards. - Inspect raw materials and coordinate with the purchasing/store team to maintain adequate material availability. - Minimize material wastage, production defects, rework, and machine downtime. - Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive maintenance and urgent machine repairs. - Ensure all workers follow proper health, safety, and PPE requirements. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area. - Train, guide, and motivate production workers to improve productivity and workmanship. - Prepare daily/weekly production reports and provide updates to management. - Coordinate with the sales, warehouse, purchasing, and delivery teams to ensure orders are completed on time. - Monitor production costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenses. - Implement proper production procedures and continuously improve manufacturing processes. - Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of aluminum sheets, finished products, tools, and equipment. Requirements: - 3–5 years of experience in aluminum, metal fabrication, cookware, or similar manufacturing production. - Previous experience in a Production Manager / Production Supervisor role. - Strong knowledge of aluminum forming, pressing, cutting, and finishing processes. - Good understanding of industrial machinery and production equipment. - Ability to manage and supervise a team of workers. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures. - Ability to work under production deadlines and meet targets. - Good communication and reporting skills. - Technical or vocational qualification in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Metal Fabrication, or a related field is an advantage.
