The company specialises in the fabrication and installation of a wide range of aluminium systems, including renowned brands such as Schuco, Technal, and Seniors products. Operating from Balby, Doncaster, Aw Aluminium employs over 25 employees. Overview We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and detail-oriented Aluminium Facade Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating costs for aluminium facade projects, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. Your expertise will help drive successful project bids and contribute to the company's growth by delivering precise and comprehensive estimates that align with client specifications and project requirements. Duties - Analyse project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to develop detailed cost estimates for aluminium facade systems - Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to understand technical requirements and material specifications - Source reliable suppliers and subcontractors to gather competitive pricing information - Prepare comprehensive cost breakdowns covering materials, labour, equipment, and other project expenses - Monitor project budgets and implement effective cost control measures throughout the estimation process - Review tender documents for accuracy and completeness before submission - Communicate clearly with clients, project managers, and suppliers to clarify project scope and resolve any discrepancies About you - Proven experience in estimating aluminium facades or similar construction systems - Proven experience using LogiKal, SchüCal and TechDesign. - Strong understanding of aluminium fabrication processes and installation techniques - Excellent skills in cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis - Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and architectural plans - Exceptional attention to detail with strong organisational skills - Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams - Relevant industry certifications or training related to construction estimation is preferred Join us to play a vital role in delivering innovative aluminium facade solutions!
