Aircraft Stores Assistant Location: Doha, Qatar Employment Type: Full-Time Eligibility: Candidates currently residing in Qatar About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Aircraft Stores Assistant to support the receiving, issuing, storage, and dispatch of aircraft tools, parts, and materials. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate tooling, parts, inventory, and certification records while ensuring stores activities are carried out in accordance with applicable aviation regulations, safety requirements, procedures, and company policies. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify aircraft tooling and parts, including calibration and airworthiness certificates. Issue parts and tooling to authorized maintenance personnel based on approved requests. Ensure proper check-in and check-out of tools and verify their condition upon return. Maintain accurate records of tooling, parts, calibration, load proof, damage due dates, and related documentation. Monitor shelf-life-controlled items and coordinate replenishment requirements with Procurement. Ensure aircraft parts and materials are appropriately packed, labelled, and prepared for dispatch. Monitor and record required storage conditions, including temperature and humidity. Coordinate the delivery and receipt of materials and related gate passes with the main store. Maintain stores operations in accordance with applicable aviation regulations, procedures, safety requirements, and company policies. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Line Manager. Qualifications & Experience Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a technical, logistics, supply chain, aviation, or related field. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in aircraft or aviation stores, tooling, parts, materials, or inventory operations . Familiarity with aircraft parts, tooling, calibration records, airworthiness documentation, and shelf-life-controlled materials. Relevant training or certification in: General Security Awareness Dangerous Goods Regulations – Basic Safety Management Systems (SMS) Skills & Competencies Good knowledge of aircraft/aviation stores operations and inventory controls. Understanding of tooling, aircraft parts, certification, and material-handling requirements. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping. Good working knowledge of MS Office. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to follow aviation procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Effective communication and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
