This role will support the responsible adoption of AI across clinical, operational, financial, and administrative areas by identifying high-value opportunities, advancing governance, coordinating cross-functional work, and ensuring AI initiatives are secure, scalable, compliant, and aligned with organizational priorities. This position serves as a central program leader for AI-related efforts, including use-case intake, prioritization, vendor coordination, adoption planning, change management, benefits tracking, and ongoing oversight through the AI governance structure. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain an enterprise AI strategy and roadmap aligned with clinical, operational, financial, compliance, and organizational priorities Manage a structured AI intake and prioritization process to evaluate proposed use cases based on value, impact, risk, cost, workflow readiness, and technical feasibility Partner with business, clinical, operational, and IT leaders to translate AI opportunities into practical project plans, timelines, resource needs, and measurable outcomes Support AI governance practices that address responsible AI use, regulatory compliance, information security, privacy, transparency, oversight, bias monitoring, and risk management Coordinate vendor evaluations, pilots, proofs of concept, implementation planning, and production readiness for AI-enabled solutions Work with data, analytics, application, cybersecurity, legal, compliance, finance, and operational teams to ensure alignment on data readiness, integration, contracts, security, funding, and support needs Develop adoption, communication, training, and change management plans to help teams understand and effectively use approved AI solutions Track AI program progress, risks, dependencies, financial impact, operational value, and lessons learned across the AI portfolio Prepare regular updates, recommendations, and decision materials for executive leadership, the AI Governance Committee, and other governance groups as needed Experience leading AI, analytics, digital transformation, enterprise technology, or complex cross-functional programs Ability to move between strategy and execution, including roadmap development, stakeholder engagement, project delivery, adoption, and value tracking Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts, risks, and opportunities for non-technical and executive audiences Practical understanding of governance, risk management, change management, and operational workflow considerations in a complex environment Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred 7–10+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, digital transformation, enterprise technology, healthcare technology, or AI-related programs, including experience leading complex initiatives Experience developing or supporting AI roadmaps, governance processes, business cases, operating models, implementation plans, and adoption strategies Knowledge of generative AI, large language models, AI/machine learning lifecycle management, data governance, information security, privacy, and AI risk frameworks Healthcare or highly regulated industry experience preferred, including familiarity with electronic health records, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act requirements, and interoperability standards Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, organization, and change leadership skills The ideal candidate is a strategic and collaborative program leader who can help turn an enterprise AI vision into a practical, well-governed, and measurable program. This person should be comfortable working across clinical, operational, technical, compliance, finance, legal, and executive teams while balancing innovation, risk, usability, cost, and organizational readiness.
