About the Job

PhyxUp Health is looking for a Business Operations Manager to help manage and improve our day-to-day business operations across Korea and the U.S.

PhyxUp Health is a San Francisco–headquartered AI healthtech startup building an AI-powered patient care and reimbursement platform for rehabilitation providers in the U.S. Our Korea team works closely with our U.S. operations to build and scale the product.

We are already working with hospitals and clinics across the U.S., and our ARR has grown more than 10x over the past 12 months.

About PhyxUp Health

We believe some of the most important parts of healthcare happen between visits.

Patients spend far more time at home than they do in the clinic, but providers have limited visibility into what happens after the patient leaves. At the same time, clinicians spend significant time on documentation, administrative work, and reimbursement.

PhyxUp uses AI to connect the clinical visit with ongoing care. We help patients stay engaged with their treatment at home while automating repetitive clinical and reimbursement workflows for providers.

We’re not just building another healthcare software tool. We’re building the infrastructure for how care continues after the visit.

About the Role

The Business Operations Manager will help keep PhyxUp's business running smoothly as we grow across Korea and the U.S.

You'll work closely with the CEO and our U.S. team to coordinate daily operations, support our clinical and billing teams, manage administrative processes, and keep important projects moving forward.

This is a hands-on role that involves a wide range of responsibilities, from coordinating with U.S. team members and managing operational documents to supporting government programs, finance, HR, and internal projects.

As the company grows, you'll also help improve existing processes and build more efficient systems that allow our team to scale.

Your main responsibility is to make sure our day-to-day operations run smoothly and help build the systems we need as we grow.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate daily operations across our Korea and U.S. teams
  • Support operational workflows involving our U.S. clinical team, billing team, and clinic partners
  • Manage internal schedules, email communication, follow-ups, and administrative tasks
  • Prepare and manage contracts, reports, operational documents, and company records
  • Coordinate applications, reporting, and administrative requirements for government support programs
  • Support HR and finance operations, including recruitment coordination, expense tracking, and administrative documentation
  • Assist with investor materials, business proposals, presentations, and due diligence documents
  • Track ongoing operational tasks and projects to ensure deadlines are met
  • Identify inefficiencies in daily operations and help develop better processes
  • Support the CEO and leadership team with other business operations tasks as needed

How We Work

We are an early-stage startup, which means roles are broad and individual impact is high.

Our operations span two countries and involve clinical teams, billing, customers, and external partners. Clear communication, attention to detail, and reliable execution are essential to keeping everything running smoothly.

We value people who take ownership of their work, follow through on commitments, and look for ways to improve how things are done.

We move quickly, but we don't use speed as an excuse for low-quality work. Our product is used by real healthcare providers and patients every day, so details matter.

You don't need to have all the answers from day one. But you should be willing to learn, take initiative, and become someone the team can rely on as the company grows.

What We're Looking For

  • Fluent in Korean and English, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work independently
  • Clear and professional communication with internal teams and external partners
  • Comfortable working with colleagues and partners in the U.S.
  • Proactive in identifying problems and following through on solutions
  • Quick to learn new tools, processes, and business workflows
  • Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-changing startup environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Business Operations, Administration, Executive Assistance, or a similar role
  • Experience working at a startup or with international teams
  • Experience managing government support programs, contracts, or administrative processes
  • Experience supporting HR, finance, or billing operations
  • Experience preparing business reports, presentations, or investor materials
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, and similar collaboration tools
  • Interest in AI, digital health, or the U.S. healthcare industry
  • Prior startup experience is not required. We value people who are organized, willing to learn, and able to take ownership of their work.

Why Join PhyxUp Health

  • Work closely with the CEO and leadership team of a growing AI healthtech startup
  • Gain hands-on experience in both Korean and U.S. business operations
  • Work with U.S. healthcare organizations and international partners
  • Gain exposure to clinical operations, billing, finance, HR, and startup management
  • Help build and improve the operational systems of a growing company
