Job Description We are seeking a highly driven Data Analyst with strong Excel skills and hands-on ACA reporting experience to join our fast-paced, high-growth team where we transform complex data into accurate, audit-ready compliance deliverables for thousands of employers across the United States. As an ACA Reporting Data Analyst, you will convert data from a variety of sources (Spreadsheets, CSVs, PDFs, and raw system exports) into standardized templates used for ACA Forms 1094 and 1095. This role requires analytical precision, technical agility, and a working knowledge of ACA employer reporting requirements under IRC §6055 and §6056. Key Responsibilities Analyze large, multi-source datasets for accuracy and completeness Communicate gaps, inconsistencies, and invalid/missing data to clients as clear, specific, actionable questions and requests. Clean, format, and transform raw data into standardized ACA reporting templates Apply 1095-C coding (Lines 14, 15, and 16) based on health plan details, employee eligibility, classification, enrollment, and affordability Ensure work is ready for quality assurance audit prior to finalizing draft forms Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to meet project milestones and filing deadlines Communicate professionally and clearly with clients throughout the reporting cycle Required Skills & Qualifications Excel Proficiency: VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, INDEX / MATCH, Pivot Tables, Nested IF statements, Logical / Array formulas Minimum of one year of hands-on experience preparing Forms 1094 and 1095 C-series. B series and/or ICHRA experience is a plus Familiarity with IRC §6055 and §6056 employer reporting requirements Strong organization skills with attention to detail when identifying discrepancies, gaps, or anomalies in source data The ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines Comfortable and efficient working independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment Preferred Skills Excellent written and verbal communication Prior experience in a client-facing or project coordination role Exposure to HRIS/payroll data sources (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, UKG, Employee Navigator) Familiarity with Excel add-ins such as Power Query that streamline data cleanup and processing Interview Process As a remote team, we require applicants to demonstrate their ability to work independently via a Technical Abilities Assessment . This is a solo, Excel-based exercise offering a high-level overview of an ACA Reporting Data Analyst's daily responsibilities. If your qualifications and experience are a match, you will receive an invitation to schedule the day and time of assessment.
