The ideal candidate should have strong experience in electrical testing and commissioning of LV/MV systems, substations, and electrical infrastructure projects, with knowledge of ADNOC standards and procedures. Roles & Responsibilities Carry out electrical testing and commissioning activities for ADNOC projects in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements. Strong practical knowledge of VLF and IR testing of MV/HV power cables. Experience in cable testing, insulation resistance measurement, and interpretation of test results. Proficient in using VLF test equipment, Megger, and other electrical testing instruments. Perform testing of LV/MV cables, switchgear, transformers, substations, and other electrical equipment. Conduct VLF, insulation resistance (IR), continuity, and high-voltage testing of electrical cables. Perform testing of protection relays, circuit breakers, CTs, PTs, and other electrical protection systems. Conduct thermographic inspections and identify potential electrical faults, overheating, and abnormal conditions. Prepare and review testing and commissioning procedures, method statements, and inspection checklists. Coordinate with ADNOC, consultants, clients, and subcontractors for testing approvals, inspections, and commissioning activities. Prepare test reports, inspection records, calibration certificates, and commissioning documentation. Troubleshoot electrical faults during testing and commissioning and recommend corrective actions. Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and suitable for the required testing activities. Supervise testing teams and ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE requirements, permit-to-work procedures, and quality standards. Coordinate with project engineers and site teams to ensure timely completion of testing and commissioning works. Maintain accurate records of testing results and support project handover and final documentation. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical testing and commissioning. ADNOC approval as a Testing Engineer is mandatory. Proven experience in ADNOC projects, electrical infrastructure, and industrial facilities. Strong knowledge of LV/MV cable testing, VLF testing, insulation resistance testing, and thermography. Experience in testing and commissioning of switchgear, transformers, substations, protection relays, and electrical systems. Good knowledge of ADNOC electrical standards, testing procedures, and safety requirements. Ability to prepare testing method statements, test reports, and commissioning documentation. Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and relevant calibration requirements. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills. UAE driving license is an advantage. Preferred: Candidates with valid ADNOC Testing Engineer approval and experience in ADNOC electrical testing and commissioning projects will be highly preferred. Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
