The ideal candidate will be a confident self-starter who enjoys building professional relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping individuals and organizations connect with education and career-training resources. Experience working with ACCES-VR, Workforce1, workforce development programs, nonprofit organizations, or grant-funded training programs is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with counselors, employers, nonprofit organizations, community organizations, and workforce development agencies. Conduct engaging, informative, and inspirational presentations to counselors, employers, community partners, and prospective students. Promote the school's career-training programs and explain program benefits, admissions requirements, and available resources. Conduct outreach through in-person meetings, live and recorded video presentations, telephone calls, email, and direct mail. Identify new outreach and recruitment opportunities within the Hempstead and surrounding communities. Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective students and referral partners. Follow up promptly and consistently with contacts, referrals, and prospective students. Meet or exceed assigned recruitment, outreach, and enrollment goals. Track outreach activities and provide regular updates regarding progress and results. Collaborate with the Admissions, Career Services, and school administration teams to support student recruitment and enrollment. Represent the school professionally at community events, employer meetings, career fairs, and other outreach activities. Stay informed about workforce development opportunities, community resources, and programs that may benefit prospective students. Perform other admissions and recruitment duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of sales and marketing experience . Minimum of 2 years of experience in career training, workforce development, education, recruitment, or a related field . Experience working with ACCES-VR, Workforce1, nonprofit organizations, government-funded programs, or grant-sponsored training programs is a plus. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Strong follow-up and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Confident, motivated, and able to work independently. Goal-oriented with the ability to take initiative and consistently follow through on assignments. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage time effectively. Comfortable using CRM systems and standard computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, web-based tools, and databases. Professional demeanor and the ability to build trust with a diverse range of individuals and organizations. Must be comfortable working in a goal-oriented and performance-driven environment. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $50,000 per year Health insurance Paid time off Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM with 1 hour unpaid lunch Work Location This is an in-person position based in Hempstead, New York , with local outreach and meetings at partner organizations, employers, community organizations, and counseling offices as needed.
