# Actuarial Analyst **Virtual Calibre Sdn Bhd** · Kuala Lumpur · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Scope: The incumbent will support the VCC modelling team to build, maintain and test the standardized actuarial model across all Asian countries using Prophet or other similar actuarial software. The incumbent will also be responsible to support the end-to-end solution and ensure the actuarial model can orchestrate with other systems easily (Prophet modelling experience + Python coding knowledge) Background and Purpose: The Future Finance Programme Plus (FFP+) has been established to deliver this with the following core aims: Deliver a modernised future proof Finance function capable of supporting the ongoing strategic requirements of the organisation Reengineer Finance and Actuarial reporting processes, along with the VCC shared service strategy to deliver synergies and cost savings across the organisation whilst also releasing the inherent capacity of our workforce to concentrate on value-add activities Deliver a one button approach to financial reporting of all core metrics, delivering hard close results for all external reporting metrics in 2 weeks from reporting dates Deliver standardised technology across the Business Units, centrally supported, and run where appropriate fully integrated into the core Finance technology stack Deliver a sustainable and streamlined resourcing model, across central teams and business units, with appropriate locations, skill mixes and career progressions The role purpose is to contribute to the following team-wide responsibilities: Implement changes, test and maintain the standardized model Support data preparation work related to the standardized model Key accountabilities: Support common actuarial model implementations including expanding the common framework where necessary, implementing and testing the CAM to replace the existing models, either Prophet-to-Prophet or Prophet-to-alternative Build products into CAM and carry out tests (e.g. unit-test and bulk test), as well as supporting stepwise impact analysis during implementation phase Support assigned LBUs in updating CAM when new requirements come, after agreeing the priority with VCC modelling teams High quality coding and making sure all checks and controls and passed before sending back to the central VCC modelling team Communicate with VCC leads on impacts / model errors if found Maintaining proper versioning of model changes of the assigned LBU Back-testing results once received an updated version of CAM from central VCC modelling team before releasing to assigned LBU Candidate Requirements: 2-3 years of relevant experience Bachelor's Degree in actuarial studies, computer science or mathematics Previous experience in a modelling team, modelling Centre of Excellence (CoE), or reporting team with modelling responsibilities will be a plus Experience in Prophet is desirable. Python knowledge will be a big plus Good understanding and ability to communicate about selected Life products and cashflow modelling for valuation in general Keen to learn, positive attitude towards learning new things and challenges are crucial Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month Application Question(s): How much is your expected salary?
