About Us: Atlas Academy is a premier educational centre located in central KLCC. We deliver high-quality academic and enrichment programs for primary and secondary students. We are seeking a capable, organized, and proactive Accounts & Admin Assistant with basic accounting and administrative experience to keep our daily operations and financial workflow running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Accounts & Finance: Perform daily bookkeeping, invoice generation, official receipts, and payment vouchers. Track and follow up on student fee collections, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Manage petty cash transactions, staff expense claims, and monthly bank reconciliations. Maintain systematic digital and physical filings for auditing and management reporting. Prepare supporting financial documents and liaise with external accountants or auditors as needed. Academy Administration: Oversee day-to-day administrative workflow, student enrolment records, and attendance tracking. Act as a clear, professional liaison for inquiries from parents, teachers, and vendors. Manage office supplies, inventory procurement, and general center maintenance coordination. Assist management with basic HR record-keeping (leave tracking, onboarding docs, and attendance). Provide operational support for weekend programs and academy events. Requirements: Education: Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent. Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in basic accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative roles is preferred. (Candidates with solid foundational knowledge of accounting workflows will be prioritized). Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Practical knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting, QuickBooks, or Xero) is a strong advantage. Language Skills: Neutral English with clear communication skills is REQUIRED. Working knowledge or fluency in Mandarin / Chinese is preferred (to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking parents). Core Competencies: Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, trustworthy with confidential records, and able to work independently.
