The ideal candidate must have strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to independently manage financial reporting, daily transactions, and compliance requirements. CPA license is preferred but not required. Applicants with solid accounting experience and strong leadership skills are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities - Oversee and manage daily accounting operations for hotel and dormitory businesses. - Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, and disbursements. - Monitor rental income, room revenues, occupancy-related collections, deposits, and outstanding balances. - Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. - Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions. - Ensure accurate recording of expenses, revenues, and financial transactions. - Prepare and monitor budgets, operating expenses, and financial performance. - Handle BIR tax filings, VAT, withholding taxes, and other government compliance requirements. - Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, banks, and government agencies. - Establish and improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial reporting systems. - Supervise and guide accounting staff to ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks. - Provide financial reports and recommendations to management. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field. - CPA preferred but NOT required. - At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with supervisory responsibilities. - Experience in hotel, hospitality, dormitory, real estate, or property management accounting is an advantage. - Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, and BIR compliance. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. - Experience preparing financial statements and managing end-to-end accounting processes. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. - Highly organized, trustworthy, and detail-oriented. - Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
