Accounting Officer - Buhay Platforms Inc. Taguig, Hybrid | Full-time About Us Buhay is a marketplace connecting Filipino SMEs to 30+ SEC-licensed lenders. Lenders disburse directly to clients. Lenders don't pay us — clients pay us a one-time platform fee when their loan is funded. Role Own our day-to-day finance operations — from collecting platform fees to running our internal finance back office. What You'll Do: Revenue & Collections: Track loan disbursements from lender confirmations Invoice clients for platform fee once loan is disbursed Follow up with clients, verify payments, and manage AR aging Coordinate with Sales to confirm disbursement and secure signed fee agreement before invoicing Finance & Accounting Ops: Bank reconciliation and maintaining books in QuickBooks Encoding of expenses, AP / vendor payments, and petty cash Process employee reimbursements and liquidation reports Check payroll before payout Create new bank accounts and secure corporate credit cards, as needed Monitor subscriptions and recurring charges Prepare BIR docs and schedules — 2307, 1601C, 2550Q, etc. Track budget vs actual and basic cash floor. Coordinate with external accountant for financial statements and month-end close Prepare P&L / cash reports and docs for audit or due diligence Take on other finance and ops tasks as needed as we scale Requirements: 2-4 years in Finance Ops, Accounting, or AR / AP Experience with QuickBooks and strong Excel / Sheets Knows basic BIR compliance and invoicing / ORs Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable following up with clients Can work independently and wear multiple hats in a startup Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar — CPA is a plus but not required Based in Metro Manila, ok with hybrid in BGC, Taguig Salary Range: PHP 35,000 - 55,000/month, depending on experience. Pay: Php35,000.00 - Php55,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
